How we use AI
Last updated: 15 July 2026
CaseStudy2Win uses AI extensively. You deserve to know exactly how, where, and why — and what the limits are. This page is our complete and honest disclosure.
1. Where AI is involved
Generating your practice scenarios. Your role, industry, and seniority are used to produce a realistic practice scenario tailored to you. We do not use your name or email for this.
Scoring and coaching your answers. Your written or spoken answer is evaluated against specific, observable criteria. Your score reflects which criteria your answer satisfied, and you can see the evidence from what you actually said that drove it — so a score is never an unexplained black box.
Voice practice. If you speak your answer, your audio is transcribed to text by a third-party speech-to-text service, and the interviewer's replies are voiced by a text-to-speech service. Raw audio is not stored after transcription.
Presence analysis (optional). If you turn on the camera feature, your video is analysed entirely on your device for eye-contact and composure signals. Your camera feed never leaves your browser, is never sent to any server, and is never stored. We do not use any cloud facial-analysis service.
Stripping a retained copy (only if you opt in).If you choose, when deleting your account, to let us keep a copy of your answers to improve the product, AI is used to strip out names, contact details, employer names and other identifying details first. Only the stripped copy is kept, and any answer that can't be confidently stripped — or that appears to reveal sensitive information — is discarded, not kept. See our Privacy Policy for detail.
2. What AI does NOT do
- It does not make hiring decisions about you.
- It does not share your answers with employers, recruiters, or any third party.
- It does not build a permanent profile about you beyond your session history.
- It does not guarantee or predict interview outcomes, or assess your suitability for any specific job.
- It does not store or learn from your personal data for model training — our agreements with our AI providers prohibit this, and we have not opted in.
3. The limits of AI scoring
Our scores help you practise and improve. They are not a validated psychometric assessment.
- Scores reflect observable criteria in your answer — not a holistic judgment of your ability.
- The same answer may score differently across runs if the AI identifies different evidence; we work to minimise this variance but it exists.
- Scores have not been validated against real hiring outcomes — we cannot claim they predict interview success.
- Criteria are written primarily for English-language professional communication; cultural and linguistic nuance may affect scoring.
- A high score does not guarantee interview success; a low score does not mean you are unqualified.
We position CaseStudy2Win as a structured AI coaching tool, not a certified assessment. The value is in the specific, evidence-based feedback — not the number itself.
4. EU AI Act
The EU AI Act classifies AI used by employers to evaluate people in employment contexts as high-risk. CaseStudy2Win is a self-directed practice tool — users choose it to prepare for their own interviews; it is not used by employers to assess candidates. We believe this places it outside the high-risk classification. We nonetheless apply its principles: full transparency (this page), human oversight (scoring is advisory and shows its evidence), accuracy, and data governance per our Privacy Policy.
If you believe our AI produced an inaccurate or unfair assessment of you, contact sajeed.eil@gmail.com. We will review the session and respond within 30 days.
5. Biometric data (camera feature)
Facial-expression analysis is treated as biometric data under GDPR Article 9, UAE Federal Law No. 45 of 2021, and the Saudi PDPL. Our camera / presence feature is entirely optional, activated only with your explicit consent, clearly disclosed before activation, processed only on your device, and revocable at any time in settings. See the biometric notice for detail.
6. Your AI rights
- Know that AI is being used — this page fulfils that.
- Understand how your score was computed — every score shows the evidence that drove it.
- Request a review of an assessment you believe is inaccurate.
- Opt out of any optional AI feature (presence analysis).
- Delete all data processed by AI systems through the account-deletion flow.
7. Feedback and complaints
