CaseStudy2Win has an optional camera feature that gives you feedback on how you present — eye contact, composure, and confidence signals — during voice practice. Because it analyses your face, it involves biometric data, so we explain it in full here. The platform works completely without it.

How it works — on your device only

When you enable presence analysis, your camera feed is processed entirely inside your own browser using on-device facial-landmark analysis that runs locally on your own machine. Your camera video is never sent to any server, never stored, and never seen by us or any third party. Only the resulting coaching signals (e.g. an eye-contact score) stay on your screen and, if you continue, inform the session feedback.

No camera video ever leaves your device.
No video recording is stored — anywhere, ever.
No cloud facial-analysis service is used.
Analysis stops the moment you turn the camera off.

Your consent and control

This feature is off by default. It activates only after you explicitly choose it and see a clear notice. You can:

Use voice practice with audio only (no camera) — full scoring is still available.
Use the camera just to see yourself, with no analysis.
Turn presence analysis on — and turn it off again at any time in settings.

Because processing is on-device and nothing is retained, there is no biometric data held by us to access or delete.

Legal basis

Facial-expression analysis is treated as biometric data under GDPR Article 9, UAE Federal Law No. 45 of 2021, and the Saudi PDPL. Our lawful basis is your explicit, informed consent, given specifically for this feature and separate from your general account consent.
