Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 July 2026

Draft — pending review. This document describes how the product actually handles data, but it has not yet been reviewed by a qualified professional. It is not legal advice.

This policy explains what CaseStudy2Win (“we”, “us”) collects when you use casestudy2win.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We only collect what we need to run the practice tool.

Who we are

CaseStudy2Win is an AI-powered practice tool for sales and interview scenarios, founded by Sajeed Ahmed. For any privacy question or request, contact us at sajeed.eil@gmail.com.

What we collect

  • Account details. Your email address, and if you sign up with Google, the basic profile Google returns (name, email). Sign-in and passwords are handled by our authentication provider — we never see or store your password.
  • Practice content. The scenarios you generate and the written or spoken answers you submit, along with the scores, evaluations and coaching we produce from them.
  • Voice data.If you use voice roleplay, your microphone audio is sent to a third-party speech-to-text service to transcribe what you say, and the interviewer's replies are turned into audio by a text-to-speech service. We store the transcript, not the raw audio.
  • Usage & cost data. Aggregate technical metadata about each session (which feature was used, timestamps, and internal cost measures) so we can run the service reliably. This does not include the text of your answers.
  • Feedback. Ratings or comments you choose to submit.

How we use it

  • To generate scenarios and evaluate your answers.
  • To keep a history of your practice so you can track progress.
  • To operate, secure, debug and improve the service.
  • To measure usage and cost, and (when paid plans launch) to enforce plan limits and process payments.
  • To contact you about your account or access requests.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your answers to train third-party AI models beyond what is needed to return your result for that session.

Your scenarios and scores are produced with the help of AI. Scores are for coaching and practice only — they are not a certified or validated assessment. If you think a score was wrong, you can ask us to review it at sajeed.eil@gmail.com.

Camera & presence coaching (optional)

Presence coaching is off by default and only runs if you turn it on and enable your camera. When you do:

  • Everything happens on your device. Your camera video is analysed locally in your browser to estimate signals like eye contact, expression, and head movement. The video itself is never recorded, never uploaded, and never leaves your device.
  • We store only the derived summary— for example “looked at the camera 60% of the time” — not any images or video. These summaries are treated as sensitive and are deleted with your account.
  • You're in control. You can turn presence coaching off at any time, and run interviews audio-only. Facial analysis can be less accurate in poor lighting or across different skin tones, so we show confidence context and lean on audio signals; it is guidance, not a judgement of you.

Because facial data can be considered biometric information under some laws, we only process it with your explicit, informed opt-in, and only for the purpose of giving you this feedback.

Who processes your data

We use a small set of vetted third-party service providers to run the platform. Your data is shared with them only to deliver the features above, and only for that purpose. The categories of provider are:

  • An AI language-model service — to generate scenarios and evaluate answers.
  • A speech-to-text service — to transcribe your voice during voice roleplay.
  • A text-to-speech service — to produce the AI interviewer's spoken replies.
  • Database, authentication and hosting services — to run the platform and store your account and session data.
  • A payment-processing service — to handle subscriptions once paid plans launch (it processes card details directly; we never see or store them).

None of these services receive your name or email address as part of AI processing. A complete, current list of the specific providers we use is available on request — email sajeed.eil@gmail.com and we'll send it to you.

Where your data is stored & international transfers

Your data is stored on infrastructure operated by our database and hosting providers in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, using CaseStudy2Win involves transferring your data internationally, as described below.

  • UAE residents: your personal data may be transferred to and stored outside the UAE. By using CaseStudy2Win you consent to this cross-border transfer as permitted under UAE Federal Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL).
  • Saudi residents: your personal data is processed outside Saudi Arabia. By using CaseStudy2Win you consent to this transfer, with your consent as the legal basis under the Saudi PDPL.
  • EU/EEA residents: where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses with our processors.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in, plus your browser's local storage to maintain your session. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for detail.

How long we keep it & deleting your account

We keep your account and practice history while your account is active, so you can track your progress.

You can delete your account at any time from your Settings page. Deleting your account permanently removes your account, your scenarios and answers, your scores and coaching, your interview sessions and history, and any support tickets and feedback you submitted. This is immediate and cannot be undone.

Aggregate cost and usage records may be kept for accounting, but they are stripped of anything that identifies you. We may also retain limited data where the law requires it.

Optional: keeping a stripped copy to improve the product

When you delete your account, you can optionally let us keep a stripped copy of your practice answers to help improve the product. This is off by default — if you do nothing, everything is erased.

  • What's kept. Only your answer text, with names, email addresses, employer names and other identifying details removed and generalised, plus the non-identifying scenario and score. It is not linked to your account.
  • Pseudonymised, not fully anonymous. We remove and generalise identifying details, but we describe this honestly as pseudonymised rather than claiming it is impossible to ever connect back to a person.
  • It's permanent. Because the copy is unlinked from your account, we cannot later find and remove your specific copy — so only opt in if you are comfortable with it being kept indefinitely.
  • Sensitive content is never kept. We do not retain any answer that appears to reveal special-category information (such as health, religion, or political views), and we drop any answer we cannot confidently strip.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you can ask us to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your account and associated practice data — self-service from your Settings page.
  • Export a copy of your data — self-service from your Settings page (downloads as JSON).
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.

Delete and export are available directly in Settings. For any other request, email sajeed.eil@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and within any period the law requires.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to limit access to what is necessary.

Children

CaseStudy2Win is intended for working professionals and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
